Jiangsu Companies Attended “Euro China Technology Summit”
Promoting International Cooperation in New Materials Sector


From June 10-12, JITTC organized a delegation to attend “Euro China Technology Summit” (ECTS) in Moselle, France to engage with relevant organizations in new materials sector. The delegation is composed of 25 people from 15 high-tech companies in Nanjing, Suzhou, Yangzhou, Danyang of Jiangsu Province.

The summit includes seminars, visits, displays and B2B meetings. With the joint efforts of JITTC and Moselle Economic Development Agency, the companies were divided into different groups according to their sectors and demand, and each group had a specific goal for the visits and a topic for B2B meetings. During the period, the delegation visited the PSA Motor Factory, PPE, ENIM, ENSAM, ESE, in a bid to understand the advantages of prestigious research institutes in France and explore cooperative opportunities. 

On the basis of successful interactions between companies of both sides, the Moselle Economic Development Agency expressed their willingness to organize a delegation to attend CITTC 2014 in November, and will further the discussion with Jiangsu on the establishment of a high-level composite materials service platform to promote the bilateral cooperation in this field.

In Vosges, the provincial council warmly welcomed the delegation and arranged exchanges with Vosges Fiber College and French Fiber Cluster. The government expressed their aspiration to enhance the relationship and promote more cooperative projects with Jiangsu. 

Subsequently, the delegation switched to Frankfurt of Germany and visited Steinbeis Center for Technology Transfer. The Jiangsu companies showed strong interest in the center’s innovative mode focused on human resources and had a rewarding experience of exchanges with the experts.
